Tickets have recently been released for the ever-popular Carols at the Castle charity event and are expected to sell out like hot cakes.
There will be no change to the traditional warmth and atmosphere of the tradition outdoor evening event with compere Annie Othen and seasonal treats of mulled wine and a range of food and other hot drinks. Another lively evening of carols is eagerly anticipated with the choirs of St Mary’s leading the singing with musical support from the irrepressible Leamington’s Royal Spa Brass.
There is plenty of parking and the gates will open at 6,30pm. Tickets are priced at £9:00 for everyone over 12 and £3.00 for children under 12. The event this year takes place on Saturday 18th of December and is the perfect start to Christmas festivities. There is a direct link to the ticket office on www.carolswarwick.com/tickets/ .
As well as being a great night out, the Carols event raises a five-figure sum for local charities every year.
To help maximise the money for the charities, Warwick Castle provides the facilities and support while sponsors also dig deep to contribute. Sponsors this year include lead sponsor Warwick Independent Schools Foundation with supporting sponsors Warwick University and Warwick Glass. The event also enjoys the longstanding support of Leamington Mazda, Warwick Printing, T3 Creative Agency, Warwick Castle and marketing and PR company, LMMC.
The money raised goes to support local good causes and is distributed by Warwick Lions, Merlin’s Magic Wand, Rotary Club of Warwick, Royal Spa Brass and The Friends of St Mary’s Choir.
